Refitting of motor vessel “Zarya” with new equipment set

In June a set of the equipment: MAN engine, modern remote automatic control system and alarm warning system – was delivered for “Zarya-346R” motor vessel within the programme “Modernization of high-speed fleet in Russia”.

It is the first project between Marine Technics and “Yenisei river shipping company” for main engine supply.

Now the engine is being prepared for mounting onboard the vessel. The works will be held by Krasnoyarsky ship repairing center in conjunction with the specialists from MT service department.

The project for vessel modernization has been developed by the Design Bureau of our Company. It is worth mentioning that the programme of “Modernization of high-speed fleet in Russia” is operating in Marine Technics with the following aims: increasing security and reliability on high-speed passenger transportations, increasing passenger comfort on high-speed vessels, increasing eco-friendly level of ships going on the inland waterways as well as increasing ship service life and profitability of passenger transportations. Starting from 2012, 36 passenger vessels have already been refitted all over Russia.
