The ninth buoy tender of Project 3052 Alexander Ogloblin has been delivered

This December, the Rechvodput state committee completed the acceptance of the “Alexander Ogloblin” vessel (Hull No. 5209). The Russian Classification Society awarded approvals and the committee signed a final delivery certificate for the vessel.

On December 21 the vessel was handed over to the operator — Federal State-Funded Institution “Administration of the Baikal-Angar Basin”. Eventually, the buoy tender will be transferred to the Bratsk Reservoir on the Angara River.

The “Alexander Ogloblin” vessel was built at Zhigalovo repair and maintenance yard and named in honor of Alexander Ivanovich Ogloblin, a hero of socialist labor, who spent over 50 years serving the district in the administration of the Baikal-Angar basin.

The series of 10 vessels is being constructed as part of the state’s Transportation System Development Program and MT-Group (Marine Technics) is honored to be the general contractor of these vessels.
