MT will produce gensets for three ships, project HB600

A contract has been signed concerning genset production for three vessels, project HB600, being built on Onego Shipyard by the order of FSUE “Rosmorport”.

Gensets МТ ВДГ-100ВСт, 100 kW will be supplied on the ships. The lead ship of HB600 will be a self-propelled hopper barge with hold capacity 600 m³.

This self-propelled hopper is built to ensure designed depth at the southern ports of Russia and trouble-free operation of Rosmorport dredging fleet. The vessel will transport dredged material.

It is to note, that genset production for HB600 project is not the first time for “Marine Technics” as it has already supplied equipment to update pilot boat “Kapitan Fofonov” and m/v “BUG”.
