Marine Technics will represent its modernization programme to the Russian and Chinese governments

Members from Marine Technics are participating in the meeting of the working group on sea fleet and river transport held 20-23 August within regular meetings of Russian and Chinese government leaders.

This event is aimed to develop and deepen ties between Russia and China in the field of sea and river transport. The leaders of the RF Ministry of Transport, Rosmorrechflot, shipping companies of the Far East participate in the meeting. The China is represented by the managers of Chinese maritime sector, sea and river ports.

MT specialists – Denis Klemin, commercial director, and Konstantin Barkanov, head of fleet modernization department – have already informed the participants of the programme “high-speed fleet modernization in Russia and China” which has gained a huge interest. Full presentation will take place tomorrow on 21 August. At the end of the event we are planning to sign mutual cooperation documents.

We kindly remind that this modernization project is geared to support and extend river passenger transportations by high-speed water transport including routes between Russia and China.
