The fourth buoy tender of Project 3052 Mikhail Gromov has been delivered
- 2022 год
On October 12, following successful sea and mooring testing, the state commission approved an acceptance certificate for the buoy tender Mikhail Gromov (hull number 5206).
The vessel has been built at the R-Flot shipbuilding complex in Oksky, Nizhny Novgorod Region, and in a couple of weeks it will leave for its home berth — the Kamsky basin of inland waterways. The vessel was named Mikhail Gromov in honor of Mikhail Fedorovich Gromov, a respected Perm river worker and veteran of the Great Patriotic War, who led the Perm River College from 1958 to 1985.
Ten project 3052 buoy tenders are being constructed as part of the state’s Transportation System Development Program.
Marine Technics (MT-Group) served as the general contractor of the construction, while the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rechvodput was the customer.
Earlier, three vessels of the series have already been handed over to the operating agencies: Vladimir Makarov to the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Moscow Canal; Alexander Sharoglazov and Valdemar Khan to the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Administration of the Yenisey Inland Waterways Basin.
Vessels are designed to maintain ship traffic on inland waterways, perform trawling operations, control navigational situation means and maintain navigational visual aids to ensure safe navigation of the passenger and transport fleet.
