Two Project 3052 buoy tenders put afloat in Zhigalovo

On May 19 and 28, first two buoy tenders with hull nos. 5207 and 5208 were put afloat at the Zhigalovo Ship Repair Facility (Irkutsk Administration of Baikal-Angarsk Basin) in order to further putting them into the finishing shed.

The present condition of these two vessels:

• sea valves are completely installed
• shaft lines and rudders are mounted
• thrusters are in place
• stripping of underwater hull is completed, coating and painting are both due.

Project 3052 buoy tenders are being constructed as part of the state’s Transportation System Development Program. The buoy tenders are designed to maintain inland waterway channels and aids to navigation.

At this moment, ten Project 3052 buoy tenders (RRR Class O-PR 2.0 (ice 20)) are being constructed at four different shipyards. MT-Group is honored to be the general contractor of these vessels.
