The lead ship of Project 3052 was launched in Nizhny Novgorod

December 9, 2021, the lead ship of Project 3052 (yard no. 5201) was delivered to the state customer Federal State Institution Rechvodput’ and operating entity Federal State Budgetary Institution Moscow Canal at the LLC R-Flot shipyard in Nizhny Novgorod.

MT-Group is a general contractor for the construction of Project 3052 vessels designed by Gorky City River Fleet Central Design Bureau. Vessels are being built as part of the “Inland Waterways” Federal Project, established under the 2024 Comprehensive Plan for Modernization and Expansion of Trunk Infrastructure.

Project 3052 vessels are to be built for the following purposes: installation, disposal and transportation of navigational aids including beacons and buoys for rivers and lakes up to type 4; on-spot maintenance and repair of navigational aids; monitoring of inland waterways navigation channels; monitoring of navigational aids alongside navigation channels; dumb barge towing; main deck cargo transportation; ship chandling.
