Modernization of “Pizhma” m/v is completed

At the end of June m/v “Pizhma” (ship owner “Oboronlogistika” OOO) successfully completed sea trials in Murmansk under supervision of RMRS where communication and navigation equipment were presented.

“Marine Technics” supplied a full scope of radio and navigation equipment: Koden radar, Tokyo Keiki gyrocompass TG8000, ECDIS, Highlander voyage data recorder, BNWAS, set GMDSS Sailor equipment, etc.

The modernization project was developed in MT Design Bureau by Anton Kanevsky, leading designer.

“Pizhma” m/v is planned to operate in the Arctic for needs of the Ministry of Defence.
