Modernisation of m/v “Zarya-346R” in Krasnoyarsk is completed

Modernisation of m/v “Zarya-346R” in Krasnoyarsk is completed.

Retrofitting of “Zarya-346R” (project R-83) for “Yenisei river shipping company”, OAO has been completed.

New MAN engine D2846 LE410, power 1100 hp, modern automatic remote control system, and AWS (Alarm Warning System) were installed.

Specialists from “Marine Technics” and Krasnoyarsk ship repairing centre performed the works. The ship successfully underwent sea trials and presentation to Russian River Register. The retrofit project was developed by our Design Bureau.

“Zarya-346R” was improved in frames of the programme “Modernisation of high-speed fleet of Russia”. For 3 years 14 boats of the project R-83 “Zarya” have been reequipped for operating on regular passenger lines and for general working tasks.

In total about 30 high-speed passenger vessels of projects “Meteor”, “Cometa”, “Voskhod”, “Polesie”, “Linda”, and “Zarya” were upgraded due to this programme.
