The construction of workboat of project WB22MT was started

June 11, 2013 at JSC “Moscow shipbuilding and ship-repair plant” construction of f workboat was started. The boat will be built by the project WB22MT of “Marine Technics” Group, in accordance with the rules of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
It is a modern, first-class equipped service crew boat that performs the following functions:
- Delivery of commissions, crew members and their families on board
- Transportation of goods weighing up to 0.5 tons
- Inspection and monitoring of ecological status of water areas
- Performance of pilot boat tasks
Keel laying ceremony was held in the presence of “MSSZ” and invited guests. General manager of the plant V.V. Nemchin opened the solemn meeting, stating that, according to experts, the boat of project WB22MT is the best proposal in the Russian shipbuilding industry in this class of boats over the last decade. In addition, he stressed that the JSC “Moscow Shipyard” is a trendsetter in construction of luxury yachts from 26 to 47 meters, and in production of motor-boats, where advanced solutions are applied, both of Russian and world shipbuilding.
Commercial Director of JSC “Moscow Shipyard” B.F. Novoseltsev said that he felt really proud of the fact that the factory constructs boats of this class, embodying advanced technology and production of motor boats with superior performance.
Also from a solemn ceremony were Deputy Head of the development and construction of the fleet “Rosmorport” V.V. Akimov, head of the Moscow office of RMRS V.G. Zaidel , from the projector the Deputy Director General of “Marine Technics” Group D.F. Klemin.
