Ice-class workboat Bata was launched in Petrozavodsk.

On August 17th, 2016, Onego Shipyard (Petrozavodsk) launched an ice-class working boat “Bata”.

“Bata” is the first vessel of project ST23WIM built for the Azov-Black Sea Basin branch of FSUE Rosmorport.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Head of the Republic of Karelia Vyacheslav Baev, Head of Petrozavodsk Irina Miroshnik, Deputy Head of Petrozavodsk Olga Starikova, General Director of Onego Shipyard Vladimir Maizus and other officials.

The project was developed by the Design Bureau of Marine Technics, and share of the equipment, supplied by our company, exceeds 95%.

“Bata” is an ice-class working boat constructed for needs of the Azov-Black Sea Basin branch. The workboat will be homeported at the Port Kavkaz. The vessel was designed for fast crew / families supply to large ships, transportation of cargo up to 0.5 tonnes. It can be operated as a pilot boat as well.

  • Length: 22.8 m;
  • Width: 6.7 m;
  • Draught: 1.8 m;
  • Speed: 12 knots;
  • ower of main engines: 2 x 412 kW.
