Krasnoyarsk Krai continue the programme “Modernisation of high-speed fleet of Russia”

Within the programme “Modernisation of high-speed fleet of Russia” the re-equipment of m/v Zarya-360 for Yenisei river shipping company, OAO is being prepared in order to replace the main engine M-400 (produced by Zvezda) for modern economically efficient MAN diesel.

We would like to remind that in 2016 the first vessel of the Shipping Company m/v Zarya-343P was refitted. Diesel geared unit on the basis of MAN engine was specially chosen to operate on the Yenisei River and to pass Kazachinsky porog (current speed up to 20-22 km/h).

During navigation in 2017 updated m/v Zarya-343P with new power unit showed its best.

In total about 43 high-speed passenger vessels of projects Meteor, Kometa, Voskhod, Polesie, Zarya, and Linda were refitted due to this programme.
