Participation in the international trade fair SMM in Hamburg

Representatives of Marine Technics Group took part into a leading international fair of ship building, machinery and marine technologies SMM which was held from 9 to 12 September, 2014 in Hamburg (Germany). This year SMM fair was marked by its grandiose world-wide scale. More than 2100 shipping companies, shipbuilders and shipowners, design bureaus and manufacturers of marine equipment and technologies all over the world including 150 first-timers such as Egypt, Lebanon and Sri Lanka participated in this event. For the first time Dubai set up its national pavilion. Asian market of shipbuilding and ship supply was also well-represented. Such major players as Korea, Japan and China demonstrated their impressive portfolio.

The recent state-of-art technologies and innovations in shipbuilding and marine equipment were displayed on the fair. For example, MAN (Germany), one of our key partners, showcased a newly developed 12-cylinder V-engine, output 735 kW (1000 hp), for use in working vessels.

During the exhibition, meetings with partners of our company were held where new agreements and partnership conditions were successfully discussed. In addition, possible cooperation with potential supplier-manufactures of marine equipment was negotiated.
