Type approval certificate for gyro compass STANDARD 22

Thanks to the joint work of the “Marine Technics” Group, the manufacturer of navigation equipment Anschutz GmbH (Germany), and the Russian River Register type approval certificate for gyro compass Standart 22 was received. The gyro compass Standart 22 is designed to define ship’s heading relative to geographical (true) North.
This type approval certificate for the first time allows owners of ship vessels to use gyro compasses Standart 22 which are popular at sea.
Popularity of Standard 22 is the result of high fault tolerance level, easy and quick maintenance, reasonable prices and high quality. Also possibility to use an universal convertor MTDAC-109 will be relevant for river vessels, when needed to replace outdated gyro compasses (“Amur”, “Kurs”, etc) keeping old periphery, which allows to save money during vessel modernization.
