Launching of Krutoyar buoy-inspection boat

On April 27, 2016, Onega Shipyard held the ceremonial launching of a buoy-inspection boat Krutoyar of the project 02780М developed by Marine Technics.

The ship is built by the order and for the benefit of FSUE Rosmorport and intended to maintain aids-to navigation devices.

It is necessary to mark the significance of this event: this boat is the first new-built vessel, launched from the factory slipway since 2012, that’s why the launching ceremony was assisted by top persons of the Customer and management of the Republic of Karelia.

On behalf of Marine Technics this event was visited by the persons, directly involved in the cooperation with the shipyard: Alexander Evseev, executive director, and Denis Klemin, deputy executive director in charge for marine division, Alexander Popov, head of Design Bureau, and Dmitry Kazartsev, chief project engineer, Evgeny Kireev, head of Sales Department (equipment for building vessels), and Artur Khaziakhmetov, project manager.

Vessel project was developed by our Design Bureau and the share of equipment supplied by Marine Technics exceeds 95%.

The craft will be completed near berthing wall of the shipyard and the second boat of this series is going to be launched as well as 8 boats of project ST23WIM, which were developed by our Company.
