Service engineers of Marine Technics Group were trained at the factory MAN

Service engineers of Marine Technics Group were trained at the factory MAN in Nuremberg, Germany.

During the training at the factory MAN service engineers had received invaluable experience and knowledge in the field of marine propulsion systems manufactured by MAN.

The first training was in the study and improvement of knowledge in the field of mechanical device of engines, maintenance and fine tuning of equipment. Procedure for tuning and tuning-up of the injection pump was perfected. Engineers have mastered the full disassembly and assembly of the engine.

The second training consisted of the study of engine management and monitoring systems, diagnostics, fault finding and fixing various electronic accidents of engine. The engine management system – control the head, consisting of blocks of MPC Bosch Rexroth was Examined. Proceeding from the received knowledge, it is possible to draw a conclusion that this system influences on the racing and stopping characteristics of the engine, gave into the most complete control of parameters depending on requirements of customers. Also it was received the diagnostic software for tuning of control systems and pinout cables to connect the computer to the Bosch Rexroth. This system of computer diagnostics will be done by engineers of the service station MAN |Service.

We examined the communicative interaction blocks MMDS-SSFR-MPC. More detailed and understandable description of these systems has allowed to receive insight into reading the errors of “management system – actuator” without using of diagnostic equipment MAN-Cats. The wiring of sensors and electronic monitoring systems of V-new engines was examined. Thoroughly fuel system was disassembled, included the complete chain from switchgear to electronic or mechanical injection nozzle. All details provided in readable form of the layer of overlapping items.

All theoretical knowledge were fixed in practice due to training Troubleshooting: failure was simulated artificially by coach in our absence. It was needed to diagnose and fix. This training has helped us consolidate the knowledge gained during theoretical classes.
