The annual seminar “Modernization of high-speed passenger fleet” was held

On the 5th of September within the frame of international shipping and shipbuilding exhibition “NEVA-2013” the annual seminar “Modernization of high-speed passenger fleet” was held.

The seminar was organized by “Marine Technics” Group in cooperation with Marine department of concern MAN (Germany), and its audience included more than 50 ship owners and representatives of design bureaus and ship repairing organizations.

At the seminar results of modernization projects of hydrofoil vessels “Meteor”, “Zarya”, “Voskhod” performed by “Marine Technics” were presented, as well as new reequipment projects and complex modernization solutions. Representatives of MAN concern from Nuremberg  presented technical comparison of the new range of engines with the competitors and shared their experience in installing MAN engines on work boats and cargo and passenger vessels.

The following discussion raised the most important questions of modernization of existing fleet.
