Negotiations between “Marine Technics” and USC
At the beginning of August representatives from the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) visited office of “Marine Technics” Group to discuss future cooperation for Russian shipbuilding market.
USC, the largest shipbuilding company in Russia, was represented by Alexander P. Navolotsky, director (vendor development and R&D coordination department), and Oleg P. Kvasnikov, head of key supplier department (vendor development and R&D coordination department).
“Marine Technics” was represented by Denis F. Klemin, commercial director, Evgeny V. Kireev, head of sales (shipbuilding department), and Vladimir V. Kuznetsov head of sales (radio and navigation department).
Urgent issues of import substitution, localization, production of marine equipment in RF, revision of legal framework and opportunities of shipbuilding development in the field of mechanical and navigational equipment supply were discussed during the meeting.
Defined steps and aims will allow the companies to cooperate and exchange the information more effectively in order to realize reached agreements in the shortest terms.
The meeting showed that “Marine Technics” sets proper goals by developing own production as well as supplying unique foreign equipment. It allows MT to participate actively in Russian shipbuilding market development by designing and realizing own projects.
