Presentation of new MAN marine engines

23.01.2014 in the office of MT Group took place presentation of the new engines of the German company MAN. Brand manager MAN Gennady Pashinin introduced new engines in heavy and medium-duty operating modes.

Engine MAN D2862 LE441 became the most powerful heavy-duty (735 kW, 1800 rpm), its characteristic feature is high service life of up to 50,000 hours. The engine is equipped with the latest-generation injection system Common rail, which reduced specific fuel consumption to 200 g/kW/h.

Engine MAN D2876 LE443 in medium-duty operating mode (500 kW, 2100 rpm) is a model of the popular series 2876. Engines of this series has compact and ergonomic layout, thus achieving easy maintenance and operation.
