Seminar on “Reducing energy consumption through the introduction of own generation”

On March 18, 2015 Yaroslavl Chamber of Commerce together with the “Diesel” Group held a seminar on “Reduction of energy consumption of a company as a result of the introduction of own generation.”

At the seminar organized for the staff of industrial companies in Yaroslavl, experts of “MT-Group” told about ways of decrease in expenses due to introduction of their own generation.

On March 18, 2015 Yaroslavl Chamber of Commerce together with the “Diesel” Group held a seminar on “Reduction of energy consumption of a company as a result of the introduction of own generation.”

The seminar was attended by experts from the main energy services industries, designers, technical specialists of technical departments and equipment units of Yaroslavl and Yaroslavl region. “MT-Group” was represented by the brand manager Dmitry Kolesov.

The workshop addressed the following questions:

• strategy of development of small power in Russia until 2030. Legal, economic, technical and political aspects of distributed power in Russian Federation. Barriers hindering the development of distributed energy;
• especially the use of CHP as the main source of heat and power in the enterprise;
• where to start when choosing a way to create your own generation? How to choose a general contractor during the implementation of the project of own generation;
• what legal and financial challenges one may be encountered during the construction and connection of its own generation facilities to the networks of centralized power and how to overcome them? Purchase of goods under leasing agreements;
• legislative framework for technological connection to the power grid;
• financing of autonomous generation projects;
• calculation of the cost of own generation;
• legal aspects of own generation, the types of agreements between the customer and the investor at creation of own generation facilities;
• efficiency of “Diesel” Group projects in Russia;

Employees of the “Diesel” Group, “MT-Group” and “YAGTU” shared the experience of implementation and operation of CHP based on MAN, YaMZ TMZ.
