Seminar on Koden equipment

On March 24-25 in St. Petersburg the annual two-day seminar on the vessel’s navigation equipment of Koden Electronics (Japan) was held. The event was organized by the marine electronics division of the “Marine Technics” Group together with Koden Electronics.

The workshop brought together over 70 participants from all over Russia, from Kaliningrad to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Among the participants were representatives of shipowners, service companies, design offices, shipyards organizations. Also Cadets of State Maritime Academy named by Admiral Makarov were present . Koden company was represented by Vice President Akira Hirama, Technical Director Nishida Keiji and regional manager Nagasawa Masashi.

On the first day of the seminar Koden specialists represented new equipment in product line of a Japanese manufacturer, as well as navigation equipment – radar MDC-2900 Series P, MDC- 2240, MDC-2000/Mkll, echo sounder CVS-FX series, receiver- GPS / GLONASS KGP- 925 , satellite compass KGC- 222. Representatives of service station told about the tests of our equipment and its certification. The second day of the seminar was devoted to the service and maintenance of Koden equipment based on the service station of “Marine Technics”. Specialists of Koden Electronics have demonstrated possible solutions of unusual situations during installation and operation.

Participants of the seminar marked high quality of the organization of the event, the usefulness of the material and favorable and productive atmosphere of the seminar.
