Russian-Danish shipbuilding forum

October 6 2010, Russian-Danish shipbuilding forum took place in St. Petersburg in the main hall of the hotel “Ambassador. A question of development of business relations between Russian ship-building companies and Danish equipment suppliers became a main purpose of the forum.

Representatives of leading design offices and Russian shipyards took part in the event. Our partners as well were among the participants – Ellehammer chairman Bruno Wigandt and sales manager Jhon Ankergaard.

Forum was opened by the Denmark General Consul in St. Petersburg and the head of the board of the computerization Valery Nikolaevich Kireev. Valery Nikolaevich designated the topic of his statement as the “Situation on the market and updating of ship-building capacities”. Development plans of various branches of ship-building in Russia were discussed in the report.

In the final part of the event presentation of Danish companies including Ellehammer took place. Meetings with the representatives of Design bureau “Rubin”, Shipyard “Zvezdochka”, Design bureau “Malachite” were held.

Next Russian-Danish Ship-building Forum will take place in October 2012.
