Programme “Modernization of Russian high-speed fleet” goes on

Within the programme “Modernization of Russian high-speed fleet” an equipment set for service motor vessel pr. P-83 “Zarya” in Ust-Kut has been dispatched.

A high-tech DGU on the basis of MAN engine D2842LE410 with nominal power 1100 hp replaced the diesel-geared unit on the basis of M-400 engine installed on the vessel.

This device was produced and advanced by “Marine Technics” to the Client’s requirements.

This retrofit project is developed by our Design Bureau and agreed by Russian River Register.

Today, within the programme “Modernization of Russian high-speed fleet”, more than 40 high-speed passenger crafts of projects “Meteor”, “Voskhod”, “Polesie”, “Linda”, and “Zarya” were refitted in Russia.
