Participation in the roundtable discussion at “Gidroaviasalon 2014”

Specialists of Marine Technics Group took part in the roundtable discussion “Prospects for the development of high-speed passenger fleet for the Azov-Black Sea coast of Russia”, which was held in the framework of the exhibition “Gidroaviasalon 2014“. At the roundtable discussion the participants focused on the problems of high-speed passenger fleet for inland waterways and coastal lines of the Russian Federation, development and construction of WIG and efficiency of their operation, the construction of vessels of composite materials, as well as the modernization of the existing fleet.

Konstantin Barkanov, head of fleet modernization, and Gennady Pashinin, “MAN” brand manager, presented the experience of the comprehensive modernization of high-speed passenger hydrofoils by the example of converted vessels of “Meteor“, “Voskhod“, “Polesie“. Participants and experts of the round table highy appreciated modernization of the hydrofoils program, which our company carries out.

The round table was also attended by representatives of “Sredne-Nevsky Shipyard” JSC, “Black Sea Speed Lines” LLC, “CDB to develop hydrofoils by Alekseev” JSC, ” Krylovskiy State Center” FSUE  and others.
