Delivery of gas engines MAN for Sochi

“MT-Group” has performed delivery of the second gas engine MAN (Germany) E2842 E31 for reconstruction of mini-CHP in Sochi, which consists of three power units. Thus the first stage of the reconstruction finished. 

The reconstruction is planned to be performed in three stages. During the first stage (till the end of 2013) delivery of 2 (two) engines MAN E2842 E312 was performed, each one of capacity of 250 kW, as well as the delivery of all necessary equipment. In the second stage (in the second quarter of 2014 ) it is planned to reconstruct the two units. In the third stage (third quarter of 2014) delivery of the third engine MAN E2842 E312 will be performed, as well as the reconstruction of the third unit. One of the mandatory requirements of the customer is that the reconstruction should be carried out without stopping the operation of CHP.

After the reconstruction, the total capacity of CHP will be:

• 720 kW – electric;
• 1 095 kW – thermal.
