Sredne-Nevsky Shipyard has launched a passenger catamaran made of CRP.

Sredne-Nevsky Shipyard has launched the first passenger catamaran of project 23290.

The catamaran of project 23290 is a high-speed passenger vessel of new generation and is built of composite material (carbon fiber reinforced plastic) through vacuum infusion method. This innovative product is unique in Russia.

The craft is intended for transportation of passengers at the distance of up to 1,000 km. The catamaran has been designed and built to the class of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and can transport passengers not only by rivers but also in coastal areas.

After launching specialists from the factory will execute outfitting works, mooring and sea trials, and then the ship will be handed over for experimental operation.

Marine Technics has supplied a set of valves for this catamaran.
