Mooring trials on icebreaker “Novorossiysk”.

On August 10, 2016 Vyborg Shipyard commenced mooring trials of the diesel-powered icebreaker “Novorossiysk” (project 21900M).

During the trials the inspection of ship’s mechanisms, systems and devices is planned.

Marine Technics has supplied the following equipment on Novorossiysk:

• thrusters, 1000 kW;
• chains and anchors;
• set of valves.

It is to be noted that the construction of this series consisted of three crafts started in 2012. “Vladivostok”, the main vessel of the project, was delivered to the customer in October 2015, “Murmansk”, the second vessel, was handed over in December 2015.
