MT supplied a propulsion unit for a log sorter, project 02990

“Rybinsk shipyard” JSC has successfully tested the first log sorter in series (project 02990), designed and built in Russia.

Before such type of ships were constructed only in European countries.

“Marine Technics” company fitted and supplied the propulsion unit (PU) MT150 produced by the company itself on the basis of modernized marine engine Weichai, power 110 kW and azimuth thruster by NGC Marine.

Due to this decision the vessel has excellent maneuvering and control features and provides design speed.

Now the craft is being under trial performance and when the navigation is over the customer is planning to continue the construction of this serial project.
