Navigational equipment for nuclear powered icebreakers “50 let Pobedy” and “Vaygach”

“Marine Technics” and FSUE “Atomflot” have signed the contract for supplying navigational equipment (gyrocompasses) for nuclear-powered icebreakers “50 let Pobedy” and “Vaygach”.

At the end of June MT supplied to the customer the following: TG-8000 gyrocompasses, DAC-109 heading translators (digital-analogue converters), MTPS-103 20A power units.

TG-8000 gyrocompasses by TOKYO KEIKI will be installed on NS “Vaygach” and “50 let Pobedy” by MT service department. MT Design Bureau will develop engineering design documentation for equipment installation.

These gyrocompasses will replace “Guis” one on NS “50 let Pobedy” and “Kurs-4” gyrocompass on NS “Vaygach”.
