Marine Technics upgrades dry cargo ships pr. R-168/K-90 type ST-1300

The programme aimed to refit dry cargo vessels pr. R-168/K-90 type ST-1300 with Marine Technics gensets has been launched.

The production site of Marine Technics Group is currently assembling the first batch of gensets 100kW (auxiliary genset МТ ВДГ-100ВСт) designed for the first craft of R-168/K-90 type ST-1300, m/v ANTE.

The ship owner has decided to double power of already installed gensets from 50 to 100 kW, thus, solving the problem of ship energy supply. It is to note that the requirements of the International Convention for the control and management of ships’ ballast water and sediments (ballast water management system required on board) will be followed.

The project works are held by our Design Bureau.
