Annual meeting of APSRT members took place in Khabarovsk

Representatives from Marine Technics: Denis Klemin, commercial director, and Konstantin Barkanov, head of fleet modernization department, – took part into annual meeting of the Association of Ports and Shipowners of the River Transport (APSRT).

The meeting was held in Khabarovsk on 27 July at the invitation of Khabarovsk Trading River Port, OJSC and gathered 70 Russian leading river transport enterprises.

During the event the issues connected with the development of inland water transportations in the country and in Khabarovsk Krai, execution of the State Council decisions and Presidential decrees on the development of inland water ways were discussed.

Konstantin Barkanov gave a report on a mutual work with APSRT within “Modernization of high-speed fleet of Russia” and presented our new project of passenger vessel Voyage MT to replace ships pr. 646 Baikal-class, 585 Rodina-class in the Ob-Irtysh, Yenisei and Lena water basins.
