Efficient energy in Uglich, “Yaroslavl Generating Company”

JSC “Yaroslavl Generating Company” is the operator of the subprogram “Improving the energy efficiency of the fuel and energy complex of the Yaroslavl region on the basis of the development of cogeneration energy” and a member of the technological platform “Small distributed generation”.

The presidential decree of 04.06.08 № 889 “On some measures of improving energy and environmental efficiency of the Russian economy” provides clear objectives: to reduce the energy intensity of Russian GDP by 2020, no less than 40 % compared to 2007, to ensure efficient and environmentally responsible use of energy and energy resources.

To solve the problem of energy efficiency and to perform the tasks set by the President of the Russian Federation OAO “Yaroslavl Generating Company” orders “gas machines” produced by “Diesel” Group based on the most modern engines MAN (Germany), model E2676 LE202, equipped with advanced technology of fuel mixture VariFuel2 from the plant Motortech (Germany). Project manager from the “MT- Group” is Dmitry Kolesov.

Energy efficiency problem is highly important for the Yaroslavl region, and the first mini-CHP based on MAN engines will be a step towards its increase.
Total capacity of mini-CHP will be:
209 kW – electric;
240 kW – thermal

“MT-Group” creates solutions based on industrial gas and diesel engines MAN (Germany), diesel generators and cogeneration units for the oil and gas industry, for the emergency power supply of social facilities (hospitals, health centers, nurseries and others), continuous power supply of remote areas, construction of mini-CHP and boilers, production of mobile power plants and other areas of industry.
