Ten-year cooperation between “Marine Technics” and MAN

Representatives of MAN concern (Germany) Peter Schedel, Head of Marine sales, and Eugen Maier, Area Sales Manager, attended our company 8-12 February, 2016. Together with specialists of “Marine Technics” Group they visited shipbuilding companies and design bureaus in order to understand deeply Russian market, specific working conditions in our region and possibility of supplies.

The visit was timed to the 10th cooperation anniversary between our companies. In 2006, MAN and “Marine Technics” Group signed an agreement on exclusive representation for marine engines on the territory of Russia, CIS and Baltic states.

“Marine Technics” successfully expands the presence of marine high-speed engines in the Russian shipbuilding markets. For 10 years of cooperation, sales of MAN engines in Russia have been increased fivefold. Despite difficult political and economic situation in modern Russia, the parties noted positive dynamics and supply increasing of marine and industrial diesel and gas engines.

In a solemn ceremony Abdul Mekhtiev, General Director of “Marine Technics” Group, and Peter Schedel, Head of Sales for marine engines MAN, exchanged gifts.

“Marine Technics” Group is an exclusive representative of MAN for supply of marine and industrial engines in Russia, CIS and Baltic countries.
