Hydrofoil boat Polesie is a passenger hydrofoil boat specifically designed for high-speed passenger shallow waters transportation in daylight hours for no more than 8 hours. Hull is made from aluminized steel. The hydrofoil system consists of forward and aft hydrofoils.
The project was developed by the R.E. Alekseev Central Design Bureau for Hydrofoil Boats
The retrofit package consists of:
- main engine MAN D2842LE410 with a capacity of 1100 hp in combination with a flange-mounted reverse-reduction gear ZF2000;
- engine monitoring and control system;
- linkage adaptor;
- spacing shaft;
- modernization project approved by the River Register.
Options:
- propeller shafts and propellers;
- renovation of compartments;
- installation of the HVAC system;
- installation of auxiliary 220V diesel generator;
- installation of navigation equipment.
