Marine Technics Group is the exclusive distributor and service partner of TOKYO KEIKI company in the Russian Federation, the CIS countries (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan), and Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania).

Both Tokyo Keiki TG-8000 gyro and TG-8500 have been designed based on a previous TG model which has been installed on more than 8,000 ships, keeping its high reliability, enhanced follow-up performance, and interfacing features for equipment.

The TG-8000 gyro is designed for standard IMO ship applications, whereas the TG-8500 is designed for High-Speed Craft.

Features:

  • Suitable for speeds of up to 70 knots (TG-8500)
  • Fast follow-up rate (maximum 75°/s)
  • Fast serial date output (IEC6112-2)
  • Interfaces with external heading sensor
  • Minimal system components for dual gyro system for saving space and installation expenses.
  • Startup-timer function

The Tokyo Keiki TG-8000/8500 doesn’t have a gyro sphere container with support liquid so this doesn’t need to be replaced periodically, providing for longer service life and requiring less maintenance over time.

The TG-8000/8500 gyros offer a wide range of output signals. Packed into a space-saving compact body, TG-8000/8500 gyros both consist of two units: Master Compass and Control Unit.

The TG-8500 gyro is approved for installation onboard High-Speed Crafts.
Both gyros are also produced under the brand name Simrad: GC-80 (TG-8000) and GC-85 (TG-8500).

The main benefits of both Tokyo Keiki TG-8000 and TG-8500 gyros are that they cost less and require less maintenance than their competitors on the Russian market.
